University Jazz Ensemble ft. Dennis Mackrel
Join us on Thursday, November 5th at 7:30PM at the UVM Music Building and Recital Hall for the University Jazz Ensemble (directed by Alex Stewart) joined by drummer, composer, educator, and arranger Dennis Mackrel! Mackrel was a member of the Count Basie Orchestra and has performed with many other bands including the American Jazz Orchestra and Dizzy Gillespie All Star Big Band. The ensemble will perform Mackrel's original arrangements and orchestrations. Free and open to the public.
